Sonic is heading to the Wii
It's been confirmed by Sega - Sonic the Hedgehog is sprinting on over to the Wii for Spring 2009. So we can all officially celebrate and partake in a bit of excitable air punching. The game, entitled Sonic and the Black Knight, is part of the storybook series that started with Sonic and the Secret Rings last year, and will be available exclusively on the Wii when it launches.
Sonic appears to a bit more lethal than he used to be. Since when was he a metal gloved, sword-toting hedgehog? With this mighty sword, Sonic can become a knight, which also means motion controlled sword fights are a possibility (woohoo). No other details are available I'm afraid, but fanboys have no fear, more information is coming soon, I repeat, is coming soon - including why Sonic is now armed with a blade.
