I'm a big sucker for exercise that doesn't feel like work, and I'll take a Body Pump class over a run outside any day. I was invited down to the Ten Pilates studio in Mayfair to try their Beginners class, and was looking forward to getting in shape the same way as Madonna and the Notting Hill set. Dynamic Pilates has long since been a hit with the A-list crowd, but with more studios opening up, it's becoming an activity that's open to anyone. Clad in leggings and clutching my water I headed to the studio, located in the Matt Roberts Gym. The room was bright and airy and contained the Reformer beds, which looked impressively complicated, with all sorts of wires and loops dangling from them. There were only six beds in the room, which meant you got a lot of personal attention from the trainer.

One thing Benefit has always excelled at is presentation, which is one of the reason it has so many devotees. One friend of mine s such a fan of the elegantly retro packaging that she continues to cart her products around int he original cardboard packaging, yes, even on the move. the latest release in the Benefit family is no less desirable. It's a lightly pigmented powder/bronzer that comes packaged in an adorable watch styled box, that makes it look like you're adorning your cheeks with filaments from a 1960's pocket watch. The packaging is so pretty in fact that I though I'd share the pictures with you alongside the review. Once you've (sadly) removed the outside packaging you're left with a stylish burnished copper tine. It opens via a screw top lid which is very handy as other Benefit powders have a tendency to occasionally pop open in your bag. Inside you have a small fan style brush, and a plastic powder sifter/ holder to keep excess powder in. It works in a similar way to mineral makeup, where you gently tap out some powder be peeling back the sticker, swirl it around with the brush and the tap gently before distributing on your face. As with any product which uses small hole sot filter the powder out it can be quite messy so make sure you have a wide space to work with if you don't want accidental particles across your surfaces.
