Snapshot – David Beckham's LA Galaxy lose in Hawaii

It sounds like a United Nations summit but England’s David Beckham saw his LA Galaxy side lose 1-0 to Japan's Gamba Osaka…in Hawaii.

It’s all part of a warm up tournament before the new MLS season begins but Becks couldn’t manage to make an impact on the game after Brazil’s Bare scored for the Japanese side in the third minute – although, judging by the swarm of players ready to swap shirts, his global appeal wasn't damaged.

Next, the Galaxy will play the loser of the other semi final between Houston Dynamo and Sydney FC – before everyone gets together to shoot the latest Benetton ad no doubt.
