Fable II Pub Games "cheats" will be banned, ignored and censored

fable-2-pub-games-cheats-bug-money.jpgSo it turns out there are a couple of bugs in Arcade title Fable II Pub Games, bugs which let you amass huge piles of money through gambling. Money which you can then take with you into Fable II, so it ever so slightly ruins both games.

Over on developer Lionhead's forum, the game makers are taking preventative measures, warning users not to cheat, and pointing out that this breaks Microsoft's user agreement. Like so:

"Using any kind of "glitch" to get large amounts of money is obviously not something which was intended to enhance gameplay and doing so will more than likely spoil a lot of the fun you would otherwise have playing the game."

Lionhead is also threatening to delete any posts which reference the exploit, all of which makes us want to download Pub Games and give it a try, just so we're part of this edgy and underground cheating movement.
