Is there any point in having a United player of the season vote - or is it simply a given that Ronaldo would win?
There's still a fair bit of football to go this season but we were wondering whether there is any point in having a vote for United's player of the season.
With his remarkable goal-scoring exploits and a string of match-winning displays Cristiano Ronaldo has become arguably the best footballer in the world over the past year.
There has been some media bleating recently about Ronny only being able to perform against weak teams and not when it really matters - but we know this is nonsense.
Wayne Rooney and new England captain Rio Ferdinand are perhaps the only players who might threaten Ronny's claim to being United's best player this season but even they are long shots.
Do you agree? Is there anybody who can challenge Ronaldo's claim to being United's best player this season? Tell us what you think using the comment section below
