Sam happy with sexy status
Samantha Janus was on the red carpet for the British Soap Awards 2008, and admitted she was delighted to be shortlisted for Sexiest Female.
The EastEnders star - who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the soap - was in the top four in her category at this year's awards, which is voted for by the public.
Samantha said: "Sexiest female I'd like to get because I'm about twice the age of everyone else who's up, so I'd like to nail them."
The 35-year-old soap star lost out to Hollyoaks Roxanne McKee, who won for the second time. But Samantha was still looking forward to partying at the awards.
She said: "It's a bit manic, it's unlike anything I've ever been to before.
"I can't really drink, I've got three kids to look after tomorrow, but I'll try!"
