A MAN’S body has been recovered from a gas terminal in West Wales.
It is understood he collapsed on top of a gas tank at the Dragon LNG plant in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, and a team of firefighters had to scale the terminal’s structure on Friday evening to reach his body.
The body was brought down from the tank after being strapped into a high-sided stretcher.
A spokesman for West Wales Ambulance service said: “We had a call at 5.11pm to the Dragon LNG site. There was a deceased patient there. We don’t know exactly what happened.”
The body was taken to the mortuary at Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest.
