Various sizes of the sought-after shoes are available via different sources: by far the most sizes are currently to be found at Harvey Nicholls, but there are a few more pairs dotted around at Browns Fashion and Farfetch - where the prices are also lower. For those looking for their Kenzo fix in a different style tere are still some diamond print and floral pattern trainers left, but all are selling out fast - going the way of the hugely popular paint-splattered shoes that defined the collection.

To me, this style has a bit of a chic tennis vibe going on, and I can imagine it going down a storm at Wimbledon - worn as part of a sports-inspired outfit, perhaps with a blazer or boater thrown in for good measure! Prices on this style range from £80-120. 

Gone are the days when ladies had the choice of plain nude heels or flats (though plenty of those are currently on offer, I should add!). As stuffy etiquette rules have been thrown out of the window by many modern couples, dress codes have relaxed a bit and as long as you're looking your best, you can be a bit more adventurous with your choice of accessories. Remember also that wedding-friendly shoes can be expensive - so you should never buy a pair you wouldn't want to wear to another formal event.

Spanning the footwear market from high street to high end (with some choice specimens from the likes of Jeffrey Campbell et. al. thrown in to the mix as well), the flatform look is not going anywhere this summer, so if you're one of the remaining few 'haters' of this style, you may need to avert your eyes now! Love them or hate them, flatforms tap neatly in to the trend for chic and simple style, and they add loads of height without relying too much on the heel. What's not to love?

What's more, every tongue is stamped with the All Star logo, which feels like overkill and probably significantly ramps up the price of what is otherwise a very ordinary pair of lo-top Chucks. And it must be annoying having to pull back not just one, but *count them* five flapping tongues every time you put the shoes on.

If these shoes could speak...they wouldn't be able to speak. They'd say "nynynynynynynynr', because they wouldn't be able to get the words out. 

I'm so confused by this new style that I'm going to have to put this one over to you, just in case I'm missing something here. So for an early Yay or Nay, what do you think of these kicks?

Not content with punking things up at the Met Gala, Sienna Miller carried her studs and spikes through to the TV Baftas in Christian Louboutin studded 'Malabar Hill' heels last week.

Sienna teamed the heels with powder blue Matthew Williamson dress from his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, Dannijo's Nahm earrings and adorable Charlotte Olympia clear clutch, a celebrity must-have at the moment. Williamson even tweeted; 'How cute does Sienna look tonight at the BAFTAs?' 

We love the bag, the dress and the shoes separately, but together? We're not so sure. We think the stylist may of had a few too many pink champagnes when she was putting this look together.

'Epic' is the first word that springs to mind when looking at these Mary Jane platform pumps, a work of footwear art from luxe Italian label Bottega Veneta. A label with particular flair for texture, its heritage is evident in the intricately embossed butterfly print that runs throughout the shoe from uppers to those generous platform soles - and the theme is picked up once again with a beautiful red and black applique leather butterfly at the toe. 

Definitely not for those suffering from vertigo, the shoes measure up at a lofty 5.5 inches including both the platform and heel. They are, in fact, disturbingly similar in structure to those infamous heels that toppled Naomi Campbell at the height of her fame at that fateful 1990s Vivienne Westwood show. But what a joy they are to behold!

ASOS 'Hotspot' studded heel sandals >>

ASOS has once again nailed the top trends of the season, with a pair of perfectly pared-down and simple sandals in a slick shade of oxblood red with a Versace-style high-backed heel and a smattering of gold studs for extra dazzle. These highly directional heels show a close attention to detail in their design, with a shiny white gold-hued heel and polished patent toe strap to contrast with the soft, berry suede.

Also available in black, these shoes will go down a storm at parties and at cocktail hour, and they're also brilliantly priced at just £45. There's no denying that this is one seriously sexy pair of heels, and I would love to give them a try with a shapeless short black dress and penty of gold statement jewellery. 

The 2013 Cannes Film Festival got under way last night, as the lavish (and very rainy) opening ceremony ushered in the stars, their stylists and the cast and crew of every film worth talking about from the past 12 months. With the Great Gatsby 1920s look a major influence, many of the hemlines were high, so we've got a good ogle at what many of the celebs chose to put on their feet - and despite the current trend for flatties it was heels, heels, heels for many leading ladies. 

Here's Nicole Kidman, always a towering beauty in heels. It seems almost cruel to place her alongside the more diminutive Audrey Tautou, but both look stunning in their frothy, whipped-cream gowns (Yqing Yin for Tautou, Dior for Kidman). But for me, those slick, bugglegum pink pumps were the main event!

But that wasn't all! Earlier in the day as she arrived in Canne, Kidman wowed again with her choice of ribbon-tied, pointed Jimmy Choo heels. The Australian actress has recently been named as the new face of the luxe footwear brand, so it only seems fitting that she should debut the style at the start of the event - and I love her figure-hugging glittery blue dress.

'Chiqui' bow sandals at Edith & Ella >>

Have you seen anything quite as adorable as these bow-detail sandals from Edith & Ella? The Danish brand keeps on delighting us with its unashamedly cute and girly styles that look like they are crying out to be teamed with a 50s-style polkadot frock or some cropped capri pants - and these orange, blue and tan heels are just one of the stand-out pieces from the collection. I love the choice of colours, which are an unusual mix of brights and classic tones for this look. 

Priced at £121, these shoes are also available in a bright green and tan mix and are sure to attract comments from many admirers who are unlikely to have seen many other pairs. The demi platform at the front is very much in keeping with the season's trend for 'flat' soles, without forcing your toes to ride too perilously close to the ground, while the delicate ankle strap ensures they're a secure and comfortable fit. On my high summer wishlist!

When we rounded up the most attention-grabbing shoes for summer 2013, I don't know how we managed to miss this one: Fendi has really gone in for avant-garde style with its range of block-heeled shoe boots this season - each of which has a distinct personality and a strong, statement-making attitude that will put your average summer espadrille to shame. Just look at that toughened, pyramid-stud heel and multi-tonal leather uppers! The combined effect is quite simply a treat for the senses.

The shoes, which come in a limited range of colourways, are made from black patent leather with contrasting textured leather panels, embellished with grey geometric stud detailing and industrial-style gunmetal studs at the side. The look is ideal for anyone working the edgy 3D look at the moment, and I particularly love the interplay between the colours. The shoe retails at £925, and is available now through Farfetch. 

Here they are, what we like to call '60 pounds of wonderful'. We're a little bit in love with Zara's Hologram heels, okay, we're besotted. Just look at that cross over, and the sling back, the chunky heel.. quite frankly, what is not to love? We've got the likes of Stella McCartney and Christian Louboutin to blame of course for tempting us with their versions.

Team with cropped trousers and a graphic tee or perhaps wear over thick hot pink socks in this rather bitter weather. We particularly love how hologram put with a bright colour can make the colour really pop. If golds more your thing, the style also come in an alternate colour way of metallic gold.
