First up, a reworking of classic red in Innie Minnie Mighty Bow. Kind of mid way between a dark vampy red and a pillerbox, it's a deep blue-toned crimson - the perfect true red. If you look closely there's a really really subtle shimmer running through it, not apparent enough to make it glittery but just enough to give the colour an extra dimension and depth.

A Definite Moust Have is a bright fuschia blue-toned pink with a white and blue pearl running through it (although like the glitter in Innie Minnie Mighty Bow it's very subtle, you can just about see it in the bottle). The formula is amazing - applies brilliantly and is super-pigmented, I used two coats for these pictures but you could probably get away with one.

The make up brand were used on the on set to make actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks look like this, and have just signed a deal becoming the official beauty partner: given The Hunger Games past success with beauty partnerships (like the China Glaze collaboration, which was a saga in itself to be truthful) it's safe to say the Covergirl Capitol Collection is gonna be big.

An aspirational, dramatic fashion hey? Can't wait to see how that translates to the actual makeup: I'm expecting metallics, brights, and (obviously), fire colours. Maybe a Katniss palette and an Effie palette? The possibilities are endless. Apparently the campaign images will be out soon, so I guess we'll be finding out imminently!

The actress looked like the epitome of summer, sporting a classic trend with a slick of bright green eyeliner, flicked up at the outer corners.

With such a simple but statement eye, Hayden kept everything else pretty simple, with perfect skin (seriously, need to find out how she's doing that) and pink glossy lips.

Most notable though, was her hair: looks like the star of Nashville (my current guilty pleasure: singing plus massive hair? What's not to like?) is embracing the country style of her character Juliette - the right side of her wavy blonde hair was pulled back and pinned up, and then covered in tiny rhinestones! What a kooky idea. Bet Shania Twain was kicking herself.

The actress walked the red carpet with a really low key look: peachy, healthy looking skin, bare lips, lots of eyelashes and a touch of eyeliner. Central to her look I feel were her excellent eyebrows - she really does have very good eyebrows doesn't she, but we already know why that is.

Her hair was pulled back into a chignon with tendrils around her face, showing off her premiere bling (see what I did there), a trio of sparkly surely-diamond ear cuffs! Looks like everybody's bringing a little punk into their lives!

Each pen has a stamp on the end so you can imprint pattered designs on your body without the added worry of one day going off them (Cara Delevingne). There's a skull, and anchor and a star (very helpful if you want to recreate Rihanna's star trail tattoo on her back), and they're just $8 each.

Dark eyebrows? Check - Cara made the most of her already generous and prominent eyebrows by filling them in and making them stronger than ever.

Smokey eyes? Check - lots of lashes and a black winged smokey eye ('batwing' eyes MAC are calling them) created huge drama, especially paired with those brows.

Red lipstick? Check - A glossy dark red - Cara steered clear of the retro vibe that matte would have provided, keeping things a bit more modern and glamourous with that shiny lacquered finish.

Red nails? Check - Cara matched her glossy red lips to her nails with a dark berry shade.

It's pretty safe to say she aced vamp school - maybe she's trying to follow all the models behind her and go into acting, cause this is definitely screaming Bond girl.

The actress sported a kooky hairstyle on the red carpet, a ponytail, with a big dose of volume. Her poker-straight hair was tightly pulled back and smoothed down at the sides, but the top section (which must've had an epic backcombing session) was injected with volume in a quiff at the front, which continued straight back over the center of her head and into a thick ponytail that fell straight down her back. Kinda like the red carpet equivalent of a mohican!

I've noticed it's gotten some flack online, but it's not that bad - I always like when a celebrity takes a risk. You have no idea how boring it can be writing about chignons. (Cough, Kate Middleton).

The actress just hit France for the Cannes Film Festival which is opening with the premiere of The Great Gatsby, in which she plays Myrtle. If you aren't familiar with the goings on at Cannes basically, before the actual film premiere there is a photocall and press conference at which the actors look about as glamourous as they would for any ordinary premiere. Then later on is the actual premiere where they look like they're actually going to a coronation. Sometimes their own. Fun.

So if Isla Fischer looks this great here, how good is she gonna look tonight! Whoever said redheads can't wear lipstick has been proved time and time again to be crazy, and here's another time - the actress was sporting a hugely summer friendly popping red, paired with a soft shimmery eye surrounded by dense, fluttery lashes. Her hair is the piece de resistance though don't you think?

With a nod to the 20's era of the film she's promoting, it was styled into big finger waves around her face, and then cascaded down into tumbling curls. The cool tone of the lipstick gives the whole look a casual vibe, steering away from the old Hollywood thing it could have easily fallen into, which would have been way too much for a daytime beach setting.

The model went to Rihanna's favourite tattoo parlour in New York accompanied by the singer to get her new ink, which looks huge in that picture but actually must be pretty small in real life. I imagine.

Cara is ecstatic about the whole thing. She instagrammed this picture with the caption, "My first tattoo!! Lions rule! Thank you so much @BangBang badgalriri" and then added "I am so happy! Thanks again @BangBang @elemags! RAWWWW"

Flash forward to now and it looks like Karl Lagerfeld is quite ready to let it go on much longer, because at the Chanel Cruise show in Singapore yesterday his models channeled the style in very dramatic fashion.

As usual Peter Philips created the look, consisting of a strong black flicked liner along the top lashline, and a bright blue one underneath. "We combined an exaggerated graphic black eyeliner on the eyelid, with an electric-blue kohl underliner," he told Style.com. The tools of the look? Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense and True Blue, all topped with Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir.

As for hair, models like Cara Delevingne sported fake fringes created using the technique we've all done at some point while considering cutting a real one in, by pulling your ponytail over your head. Instead of a standard ponytail however, Sam McKnight put hair into French twists before pinning them over the head and arranging the tips of the hair swept to the side or artfully around the eyes.

The commercial highlights Amanda's day job - spaghetti western style, Amanda strides into a little French cafe like the worst cowboy in all the west, stopping other patrons in their tracks and then whipping off her hat and coat in the middle of the room, performing a hair toss that would make Cheryl Cole quiver in her boots. A pretty convincing sell for the perfume in my opinion!

In a video for the brand, Jen reveals that she still can't quite believe she was the owner of the world's most famous haircut as her hair was 'the worst'.

"Well not the worst," she said "It was just unmanageable."

In the video, Jennifer's hairstylist and the guy behind the iconic cut Chris McMillan explains his thinking behind the style and exactly how he did it. It's pretty interesting I gotta say! Check it out below.

At first I thought she'd just had some teardrops drawn on with eyeliner, but then her face moves and catches the light you see they're actually tear shaped crystals. Very effective with her whole vintage doomed romance vibe.

My total weight loss was 7lb (half a stone), which isn't as much as the book says most people will lose, but that's because I was starting out at a medically 'healthy' weight, and weight loss slows when you don't really need to lose anything. The loss slowed to a halt in the last two weeks - probably my body's way of saying "I'm happy here, and so are you" but also proof that there are plateaus in this regime, contrary to what the book says.

In terms of how this has changed my body, I think the pictures speak for themselves. My mid-section has changed quite obviously, and I've also lost a significant amount off my hips and bum, making me a little less pear-shaped and a little more hourglass.

The measurements show I've lost an inch off my bust, an inch and a half off my waist, an inch and a half off my tummy, and two inches off my hips! I wore the same outfit in my before and after photos to make them as clear as possible (though I've only just realised I had the top on back to front in the before pics!). Hopefully you can see how much better those size 12 jeans fit me now. Still a bit of camel toe going on in the below photo, but I think that's more down to the pose than the jeans!

I don't look drastically different but everything fits better and I feel lighter and more energetic. I wake up feeling less lethargic (ahem, sometimes). The biggest surprise on this diet was how easy it was. I only struggled with one fast day, and I loved the days I didn't have to think about food. The diet was so easy to follow - it sounds far more extreme than it is, and towards the end I realised a lot of the evening meals I make on a normal day can be easily adapted to suit a 500 calorie day without much hassle. This diet basically teaches two things - practicing moderation through an extreme body reset, and how to understand your own hunger patterns properly. The latter really surprised me, because when I read the book I thought it was rubbish. I thought I'd want to binge on non-fast days to make up for the restriction. But I've lost track of the amount of food and drink I've turned down on non-fasting days because I just didn't feel like I needed (or wanted) them. Ten weeks ago, I probably would have said yes to everything.

Anne had jumped back a few decades from her punk look, swapping the sexily pushed back style she wore for the ball for a neat pixie shape that I would usually write off as boring, but actually on her it's looks super chic and pretty. Very Mia Farrow. Anne underlined the sixties vibe with a very pale shimmery white-gold eyeshadow and black liner.

How are you feeling about her hair change?

The Run The World (Girls) collection - a set of matte neon shades - actually seems to draw inspiration from a couple of other pop stars too, with names like I Kissed A Girl, It Girl, Hollaback Girl, Nasty Girl, and Party Girl.

"This season I wanted to create a more sophisticated take on the neon trend," says Lippmann. "My new collection, Run the World (Girls) Set of mini nail lacquers features fun yet wearable neon shades that feel fresh with a fabulous matte finish and they are FDA-approved to boot!"

I am super-intrigued by the idea of a matte neon - I'm sure it's not a first but I don't think I've seen one before. Sadly this collection isn't being stocked in the UK, but you can make your own matte neons with a bit of matte top coat magic. Try Rimmel London Pro Matte Top Coat (£4.59) over a little something from the Models Own Ice Neon Collection (£5).

Apparently Alber's coy comments on maybe doing eyeshadow too were more than just a possibility - he has "dressed and re-styled" Lancôme eyeshadow palettes to go with each of his madeover mascaras, featuring stars, polka dots, eyes and hearts - plus a set of false eyelashes in the best box ever to complement them all.

Supermodel Kate replaces Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, who served as the brand's face last year. Obviously if you're the face (and body) of St. Tropez a naked campaign shoot is mandatory, so here's Kate in all her glory showing off just how healthy a bronzed bod looks. Damn my red hair and pale skin.

She does look absolutely amazing doesn't she. Makes me want to get run out and get a spray tan right now.

I mean, wow, she really went for it. While most attendees of the Punk-themed gala had us straining to understand how they could possibly think they were following the dress code, January left nobody guessing.

The actress looked like she'd just stepped off a Gareth Pugh catwalk, with high impact look apparently inspired by Siouxsie Sioux. A graphic demi-circle of black eyeliner framed her eyes, ending in slanted points at the inner and outer corners of her eye. Her eyebrows were lightened to give full attention to her eyes, and her eyelashes were left, keep it all quite clean. She looked a bit like a high-fashion raccoon.

To lighten it up a bit, January wore a peachy colour on her cheeks and lips, but even so the effect was quite alarming. However, you have to give her props for really getting into the spirit or things, unlike some people (I'm talking to you Emma Watson and Jennifer Lawrence).
