Forget the football – The Apprentice is WAY more entertaining!

You might want to have a pair of scissors handy when you sit down to watch tonight’s superb episode of The Apprentice, because Michael is going to sing. Well, when we say “sing” we actually mean “torture us into a tooth-itching frenzy”. It’s SO bad. And we thought Michael couldn’t get any worse... Still, at least when he’s “singing”, he’s not talking in that awful blunt-hammer way that he does. Anyway, that’s enough Michael-bashing (for now), let’s get on to talking about tonight’s task. As we showed you yesterday, this week the teams have to come up with a new brand of tissues, then create an advert to present to a panel of top advertisers. Andrex have done it with that cute puppy for years, while Charmin prefer cartoon bears, but what will the alleged brains of Britain come up with? After Lee’s “snot” outburst (urgh, gross visual image there), literally anything’s possible. We just hope Michael doesn’t think that his singing will sell any tissues. Actually, do you think if you stuffed enough tissues into your ears you’d be unable to hear him? Maybe use them instead of the scissors then. Less messy. We can’t believe that there are only seven candidates remaining, and this week we really have no clue who will be up for the chop. As long as it’s not one of our favourites then we’ll be happy. What about you? Who do think will be needing the tissues tonight to sob into when they’re booted off? Oh, and we do know there’s some apparently important football match on tonight or something, but nowhere will you see more dirty tackles than on The Apprentice. You MUST watch it – even if it means sitting in front of the old crackly black and white TV in the spare room – then come back here afterwards so we can discuss everything that happened! We can’t wait!

The Apprentice, BBC1, 9pm
