Husband is accused of murdering Vodafone boss Sally Sinclair

The husband of a Vodafone executive found stabbed to death at their country home was last night charged with her murder.

Sally Sinclair, 40, died from multiple stab wounds to her upper body on Sunday night.

She and her husband Alisdair, 47, lived together with their twin 10-year-old boys in the house in Amport, Hants.

Last night, Mrs Sinclair's parents paid tribute to a "wonderful mother" who kept her troubles to herself.

Nicolette Alford said: "Sally was a clever, bright, hardworking girl who loved her job - but more than anything, she loved her children.

"She was a wonderful mother and worked tirelessly to give her children a happy life. She was the most caring person I have ever known."

It is believed Sinclair sold second-hand cars from home. Neighbours said the family were very private. They said the house looked deserted and the curtains always shut.
