Airhead heiress Paris Hilton refuses to get off plane until her make-up is done

I LOVE getting glammed up as much as the next girl, but Paris Hilton takes vanity to jumbo levels quite literally.

The stroppy diva refused to get off her commercial flight when it landed at Heathrow on Tuesday and delayed its frazzled captain and crew.

Paris, who was in first class (naturally), insisted she had to do her make-up and put on her best outfits for her public.

But come on girl how long can it take? Try planning what to wear before you get off the plane.

An airport source told me: "Every other passenger had got off the aircraft but she stayed on, telling the staff she couldn't possibly be seen in public until she had decided on her outfit."

And after all that effort, she must have been hoping for a massive crowd of fans, but my mole said: "Paris was red-faced as she came through the airport pretty much unnoticed."

And the 27-year-old hotel heiress caused a further headache for poor British Airways when she was told that two pieces of her Louis Vuitton luggage had gone missing, the highly-strung party girl threw one of her trademark Hilton hissy fits.

I've now witnessed three days of the Paris Hilton show and it has been non-stop drama and constant delays.

On Tuesday she was expected at Mayfair's Whisky Mist bar for 11pm and turned up at 1am.

On Wednesday she was an hour late to film her MTV reality show at the Kyashii Restaurant in Central London's Kingly Club.

And on Thursday she kept fans waiting in Covent Garden before turning up in the West End's Cuckoo club way behind schedule.

Forget about trying clothes on there's only one thing poser Paris needs.
