Carl Froch can make himself the mandatory challenger to world super-middle king Joe Calzaghe by beating Russia's Dennis Inkin in a WBC final eliminator in his home city of Nottingham on March 29.

Froch, 30, beaten by Inkin as an amateur, said: "This is the toughest fight of my life but I'm excited."
