LOLLAR, Sep 20 (CP) - Dutchman Thomas Dekker of Rabobank has won the second stage in the 3-Länder-Tour and is the new winner in the overall classification.
A group of six jumped away from the peloton with just sixty kilometers left to go to the arrival town of Lollar.
That group consisted of Thomas Dekker, Michael Boogerd, Jens Voigt, Christian Pfannberger, Samuel Plouhinec and Fränk Schleck.
The group was too strong for the peloton, which would lose no less than twelve minutes during this stage.
At the finish, Dekker showed to have the best legs and finished ahead of Pfannberger and Rabobank teammate Boogerd.
Dekker takes the lead in the overall classification, at the expense of Gerald Ciolek.
