New Sony Ericsson handset to support T-Mobile's AWS spectrum
The new Sony Ericsson TM506 (previously code named as Bella) is to support T-Mobile's Advanced Wireless Spectrum network. The affordable Sony Ericsson mobile phone is already known to include a 3G facility but it was later found, in the print of the official press release, that it would also include a wireless feature.
According to the Mobile Whack website, the TM506 also includes triband 850 / 1800 / 1900 GSM / GPRS / EDGE and dual-band UMTS / HSDPA 1700 / 2100. Other features include a built-in camera, although the specification is not particularly outstanding at 2MP. Expansion is available via Bluetooth for mobile headsets and speakers whilst a microSD slot allow you to upgrade the internal memory although it is unknown as to what. The phone also includes a player for both music and video. The release of the TM506 is due on the 3rd September.
