12-Colour Press Adds Capacity And Efficiency

To add more capacity, efficiency and more creativity, Howard Hunt Group, said it has strengthened its services by buying a GBP2 million Mitsubishi Diamond 3000TP 12-colour press.

The Mitsubishi Diamond 3000TP is accompanied by a Mabeg RS-104 reel sheeter and marks Howard Hunt Group's position as Mitsubishi's largest partner in Europe.

Howard Hunt Group added that the new equipment also endorses its continuing commitment to environmental improvements and efficiency within the printing industry.

The Mitsubishi machine will make the group's printing processes completely reel-fed, enabling a reduction in paper wastage and increased energy efficiency.

Luke Pigott, Howard Hunt Group's managing director, said: "The Mitsubishi Diamond 3000 will complement our existing portfolio of products and services and allow us to enhance the excellent levels of multi-channel, one to one marketing communications we already provide our clients.

We now have three distinct areas to the business with our main manufacturing site, the Celerity IS data intelligence business and Celerity Communications, our digital printing operation.

The combination and strength of these services give us a unique position in the marketplace." He added that during the last four years, the company has invested GBP20 million pounds in technology, including digital printers and finishing equipment.
