‘The World Should Revolve Around Me’
Little Jackie is genre-defying singer songwriter Imani Coppola and programmer Adam Pallin. Their debut single ‘The World Should Revolve Around Me’ is out 25th August, which is one week before their album ‘The Stoop’ comes out.
The single is a poppy sassy track and the song features lines like “I bide my time with philosophical questions, not for nothing but what came first, the chicken nugget or the egg McMuffin”.
In fact, the whole album is a witty lyrical assault on the social and cultural issues that consume public life today.
With a nod to the soulful Motown rhythms of the past, Coppola has crafted an album of musical sugar and spice, filled with sweet saccharine-tinged melodies and spicy bold commentaries.
The single ‘The World Should Revolve Around Me’ is out on 25 August.
