Thursday, 08 May 2008 Apple Design Awards deadline looms
Days to go until the deadline for submissions to this year's Apple Design Awards
There’s only a few days to go for developers to submit their applications to this year’s Apple Design Awards.
Apple this week announced the deadline for entries - developers have until 12 May to submit their work. Spicing up this year’s awards is a new iPhone category, which should be interesting.
The annual awards take place during Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC). They are designed to honour the best development in multiple categories, including user experience and a student developer award.
Winners in the iPhone and Mac OS X Leopard categories will receive two 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops, two 30-inch Apple Cinema Displays, one 16GB iPod touch, one 8GB iPhone, an ADC Premier Membership, reimbursement for one WWDC 2008 E-ticket including airfare and accommodations, and one 2009 ADC Macworld Expo Exclusive Marketing Package.
The Best Mac OS X Leopard Student Product category winner will receive one 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop, one 30-inch Apple Cinema Display, one 16GB iPod touch, one ADC 2008 Student Membership, reimbursement for one WWDC 2008 E-ticket including airfare and accommodations, and one 2009 ADC Macworld Expo Exclusive Marketing Package.
