Thursday, 08 May 2008 Iomega ships 250GB Camo drive
Funky camouflaged portable drive offers 250GB storage and costs under £100
Iomega has introduced its latest eGo USB 2.0 Camo portable hard drive.
The Camo drives ship in a woodland camouflage-patterned curved chassis that also comes with a black Iomega Power Grip band for extra durability.
The 2.5-inch drive offers 250GB capacity and draws power over USB - no power supply is required. The device ships with Retrospect HD software for automatic, scheduled or on-demand back-ups.
Iomega’s patented DropGuard technology protects the eGo drive from accidental damage caused by drops of up to 51 inches (129cms), compared to portable hard drives from other manufacturers that claim drops of less than 40 inches.
The drive is compatible with OS X and most Windows systems and costs £99.90 (including VAT).
