Gear4's latest two-in-one speaker system is unique offering
Gear 4 has introduced Duo, a dual talented speaker system.
The system offers both a 2.1 home stereo speaker system and also provides a detachable portable speaker, which is mounted at the front of the black and silver unit.
The Duo speaker system comprises the Bass Unit and the Satellite Speaker, which can be used together as a powerful home stereo speaker system, or un-dock the Satellite for a portable unit. While docked, the Bass Unit charges up the Satellite Speaker’s rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.
The system uses the company’s own sound technology (Seamless Sound Technology), which provides a seamless connection between the Bass Unit and the Satellite in order that when docking and undocking the two elements, playback is never interrupted. The satelllte features a retractable iPod dock and ships with a remote control.
The system pumps out a total of 38W, with a powerful 20W subwoofer in the Bass Unit and 4 tweeters in the Satellite.
