Apple intros 'Pep Rally' and 'Group' Mac v. PC ads.

Apple has introduced its two latest ‘Get A Mac’ ads in the US. ‘Pep Rally’ and ‘Group’.

The first ad sees the PC character hire a college-style cheerleader trio in an attempt to improve his standing among students, admitting Apple to be the “number one notebook on college campuses.”

However, PC’s brave attempt is foiled at the eleventh hour when the cheerleaders start chanting for the Mac.

‘Group’ sees PC in a support group with other PCs. Echoing many support groups, the meeting begins with a statement of intent: "You've just taken the biggest step, and that's accepting that our operating system just isn't working like it should," the computer/characters agree.

The best line in this video is saved until the end, when PC stands up to declare: "I am pleased to say that I've been error free for over a week,” only to suffer a technology problem and end up repeating that same statement again and again.

Apple’s ‘Get A Mac’ ads are available here.
