Aspyr updates Mac version of Guitar Hero
Aspyr Media has introduced a free patch for Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock for Mac.
This is an official update for the game and will update any previous version of Guitar Hero III to version 1.3. It’s recommended for all users.
The update introduces a new ‘Front Row Cam’ option which allows for better performance on low end Macs, making for smoother gameplay.
The software update also offers laptop-specific optimisations for better performance, along with a battery metre icon (within the game) so players can keep track of how much charge remains on their Mac while playing the game.
The 296MB update is immediately available as a free download.
