Citi Platinum MasterCard users get iTunes Store credits for spending cash
iTunes downloads are the latest inducement to appear from a credit card company.
Users of the Citi Platinum MasterCard (17.9 per cent APR) are being offered iTunes Music Store points with every purchase - and these points can be exchanged for music downloads or even an iPod.
Customers earn one point for each £1 they spend using the card, and also receive a 2,000 point bonus (valued at £15) if they make £250 worth of purchases within the first three months of having the card.
One iTunes track requires 150 points (so spend £150 and get a free track to ease the pain). Music videos cost 400 points while albums cost 1,500 points.
A £15 iTunes Music Card costs 2000 points, while an iPod Nano costs 15,000 points.
