Apple reaches deal to bring iPhone to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
Apple has struck a real with Sweden’s largest mobile firm, TeliaSonera AB, in order to bring iPhone to the Nordic states, Bloomberg announced this morning.
TeliaSonera AB wins distribution rights across the Nordic states: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The device will go on sale in these countries “later this year”, the company said as reported by Bloomberg.
Apple-watchers have been wondering why Apple had not yet arranged a deal with the Nordic states. The company now has distribution deals arranged for Europe, South America, North America (including Canada), Australia and many parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
