Hefty update offers many improvements, patches and reliability increases
Apple has released Mac OS X 10.5.3, which is currently available through Software Update.
It’s a major upgrade, weighing in at a rather bulky 420MB. Major areas addressed within the patch include AirPort, Time Capsule, Mail, iChat, iCal and more. The company states: “It includes general operating system improvements that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.”
AirPort’s 802.1X and Time Capsule reliability are improved, while iChat gains better screen sharing features. Extensive notes detailing the contents of the update are available here.
