Counting on the shitclock...
Like many others, I reckon the neutering of the source material will probably render this merely another sub-Matrix teeny shooter. As a fan of the comic and of Nightwatch/Daywatch, I do hope that I'm wrong. What did make me chuckle is that Empire are 'counting the minutes' until its release. Really? Sounds like meaningless uber-hypery to me. And won't they get confused with all the other minutes they are counting, what with Indy, Hulk, Dark Knight, Hellboy etc etc etc? And those minutes until Av... Read More

When I first saw the trailer for Wanted, I really hated it. Mainly because I read the comic book and I loved it. The style seemed similar to Fight Club and was like the Justice League/The Avengers style gang of fighters but instead they are super villains. I didn't like the idea of the change on being assassin's, I just liked the whole fantasy format and would have been a change of a movie about super villains. Angelina Jolie was the second problem for me; she is too much of an action queen, whi... Read More

Angelina is THE action queen.
And probably the ONLY actress whose involvement in a movie guarantees my attendance at the flicks. Wanted looks amazing in the trailers. By the way check out i-tunes for a supremely funny and pretty bloody explicit NEW trailer for TROPIC THUNDER, sure to be this years funniest pic. ... Read More

I just can't be arsed to watch 'bloke from Atonement and Lara Croft' running round in some film of some comic no one's ever hear of. There's only two action films for me this year and one has a whip-crackin' hero and the other has an insane clown villain. Though you go ahead and watch the marvels of 'bullet curving'. Matrix anyone? What next? 'Bullet bouncing' If Angelina Jolie braces herself- she can deflect 12 rounds from a pump-action shot gun off her tits! ... Read More

Loving it! If this film is even remotely like Nightwatch, I will be very happy indeed...being an impatient so-and-so, I'm quite bored of waiting for things, but I think I might just be able to hang on for this one! :D ;) ... Read More
