First Trailer For The Mummy 3
It's been a long time coming, but Universal has finally released a first trailer for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, or The Mummy 3 for those short on time. Click here to take a look.

Apparently the delay was caused by finishing up all the CG because there is a lot going on here. We counted only about 3 or 4 shots not featuring some form of – very sturdy – effects. In case you couldn't fully pick up the story from the footage, this film takes place some twenty years after the previous film in the series with Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) and his wife Evie (once Rachel Weisz, now Maria Bello) pulled out of semi-retirement when their son (Luke Ford) discovers a new mummy in the form of Jet-Li's clay-based emperor (technically, we're not sure that makes him a mummy, but we're not pedantic enough to point that out...oh...wait).

There's a lot riding on this film to deliver where the previous film couldn't and it's certainly not wanting for competition this summer. So, what do you think, can The Mummy rise again?
