So, Tropic Thunder is a comedy all about an attempt to make a war movie going absurdly wrong. Hearts of Darkness is a famed documentary about Francis Ford Coppola trying to make Apocalypse Now and having everything go absurdly wrong. Rain of Madness is a fake documentary about a fictional director trying to make Tropic Thunder, a movie about trying to make a war movie in the face of adversity, in the face of adversity. Woah, this is twirling our noodle way too much for this time in the morning.
You can see the trailer for Rain of Madness, which we're assuming will be a full-length 'documentary' to accompany the film, but we don't know how it will be released (DVD extra or cinema? We'll try to find out and update you), at iTunes, right here. Just enjoy the funny, which is abundant, and don't try to work out the logic, for to understand this is to look into the face of madness, and madness is scary looking before its had its morning coffee.
