AZ defender Agustien in talks with Birmingham

ALKMAAR, July 19 (Eredivisie) - AZ Alkmaar defender Kemy Agustien is in talks over a possible move to Birmingham City, according to his agent.

The 21-year-old has only spent one season with AZ, but has been told he is surplus to requirements by coach Louis van Gaal.

Reports suggest Birmingham are keen to secure Agustien on a one-year loan deal, and his agent confirmed they have held talks with the English club.

'It all looks pretty good,' Wessel Weezenberg told De Telegraaf. 'The negotiations will continue when Kemy has recovered from a light muscle injury next week.'
