table - and UEFA are considering expelling them from next season's European
campaigns.

guilty of trying to bribe referees during the during the 2004 campaign. The
Portuguese club have appealed the decision.
UEFA president Michel Platini said: 'UEFA has to combat cheating. There has
been the attempt to corrupt referees and we have very strict rules to allow us
to exclude teams that have been involved in any attempts of corruption.
'It's part and parcel of all my projects - we are going to be very strict on
cheating and cheaters. They will be excluded because we want clean football.'
