Micoud to sit out for Bordeaux

May 9, 2008

PARIS, May 9 (Reuters) - Girondins Bordeaux, who trail leaders Olympique Lyon by two points with two games left, will have to make do without several key players when they take on Sochaux.

Playmaker Johan Micoud has been ruled out with a calf injury while goalkeeper Ulrich Rame is out with a groin problem.

Midfielder Alejandro Alonso will also miss the encounter because of a groin injury.

'All these players are out for the Sochaux game, unless there is a miracle,' coach Laurent Blanc told sports daily L'Equipe.

Argentine striker Fernando Cavenaghi will be suspended.
