Raleigh has an exciting opportunity for a professional photographer to join an expedition in Borneo this summer from 13th to 28th August. Raleigh will pay for your flights and expedition costs. We are a youth and education charity helping the development of young people from different backgrounds and cultures while contributing to sustainable community and environmental projects. On arrival you will be deployed to a number of remote projects sites which could include Imbak Canyon, a kindergarten construction or involvement in a sun bear project. You will also be deployed on the adventure projects which include trekking, bamboo rafting and white water rafting. You will be living and working closely with other people during this time and we would like you to take an active role on expedition. CameraTrails organises tutor led photographic tours around central London. We are looking for a photography tutor to lead our half-day tours and teach people how to optimise their use of a DSLR camera. We are currently building up our customer base and tour frequency, so initially we want someone to take about 6 tours per month (taking place on weekdays, and lasting about 4.5 hours each). If things work out, we will rapidly increase the volume of tours. The responsibilities: -Meeting a small group of beginner to intermediate level photographers (6 or fewer) at a central London location and taking them around a pre-planned route, stopping at various locations and teaching how to take better photos. -Working with us to develop additional tour content and teaching material. Ideally I am looking for a people person that is also passionate about photography but the personality is key. Horsepower Photography are currently looking for assistants for the 2009 season. Working on our stand throughout the summer you will be showing customers their images, advising and taking orders. Must be responsible, reliable and good with people (and horses!). A love of everything equine is, of course, a must, with a good understanding of breeds, colours, gaits and disciplines beneficial. A current driving license and vehicle is required as we cover events throughout England. Pay is £6 an hour plus mileage at 0.25p per mile from home to event location. For multiple day events staff are expected to stay onsite providing their own camping facilities or travel home under their own cost. Hours are varied but generally a 10am-6pm day but every event is different so these times are only a general guide, you may be expected to stay later on some occasions.
